Nick "Hogan" Boella Involved in High-Speed Crash
10:37pm MST
At approximately 7:30pm Sunday August 26, 2007 in Clearwater, Florida a yellow Toyota Supra driven by reality TV star and Formula D driver Nick Hogan (Boella) hit a palm tree head on at a high rate of speed. The vehicle jumped a raised median and then crashed into a palm tree just east of Downtown Clearwater, FL. Firefighters at the scene extracted Nick Boella and a passenger from the vehicle and airlifted both to a nearby hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Nick Hogan co-stars in the hit reality TV show "Hogan Knows Best" starring his father, former professional wrestler Terry "Hulk" Hogan (Boella), his mother Linda Hogan (Boella), and his sister Brooke Hogan (Boella). Nick has also recently been featured as an up and coming driver in the USA drifting series Formula D and NOPI Drift. Nick Hogan drives a Dodge Viper for Team Mopar in both series.
There is presently no evidence of racing or drifting being a factor in the crash today.
