A rare Nissan 300Z
out at the Drift Session. By 2002, the amount of drivers at the
track had gone up somewhat, but the general population was still
relatively uneducated about drifting. |
 |
In January, a bunch
of drivers and Drift Session staffers took their own personal
vehicles out to the Izumo
Taisha temple in Honolulu for a car blessing. The priest did
a blession for each car and driver and gave out good luck charms for
everyone to put in their vehicles. |

Four times a year,
the Hawaii Corolla community gathers for the "Hachi Meet."
The summer cruise tends to be the largest. For anyone who wants to
know, the O.G. Hachi Meets are the ones organized by
"Ninja7" and "Turn1." |

demonstrate high speed drifting and what a purpose built drift
vehicle could do at Hawaii Motorsports Center. |

Jason Tam-Hoy in his

he is a Gran Turismo 3 drifting master that uses the standard
controllers when playing. |
